Mandie has been a valued member of both the Professional Help and GriefChat teams for several years, using her counselling skills to support clients across our services and her management and administration skills to help ensure the smooth development and running of our EAP and bereavement counselling work.
Mandie has a calm, pragmatic attitude that is enormously helpful in challenging situations and has handled a large workload of highly complex clients with dexterity, always giving the best of herself and her wide-ranging experience to people in distress. She creates excellent therapeutic relationships and offers an empathic clear-sightedness that is quite rare in the field.
On a personal note, I would choose her as my counsellor any day, as she is totally down to earth, has a wonderful sense of humour and understands how to help people steer a course and find their path, even in the most difficult times.
